Who is responsible

Runseal is developed and operated by SPEX S.à r.l., 2 Rue de l'Industrie, L-4823 Rodange, Luxembourg. SPEX is the data controller for the personal data collected through this site. You can reach us through the briefing form or via spex.lu.

What we collect

When you request a technical briefing, we collect the details you provide in the form: your name, business email, organisation, role, the description of the action you want to govern and any optional message.

To protect the form from automated abuse, our service also processes the network address (IP) of the request briefly for rate limiting. This is used in the moment and is not stored with your enquiry.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use these details only to respond to your enquiry and to arrange a technical conversation. Our legal basis is your request to take steps prior to a possible engagement, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. The short-lived processing of the request IP rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

How it is processed

The form submission is handled by a service running in SPEX's own Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environment and delivered to us as an email enquiry in Exchange Online. This processing takes place in the European Union, in Microsoft data centres in the West Europe region. Microsoft acts as our processor for this hosting and mail delivery. We do not transfer your enquiry outside the European Union.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry only for as long as it is needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and we delete it when it is no longer needed. We do not retain it for a fixed promotional period.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and it does not embed third-party analytics or social media trackers. Nothing is set on your device to profile you across sites.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to your personal data and its correction or deletion, and you may object to or ask us to restrict our use of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the briefing form or via spex.lu.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg supervisory authority, the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD), cnpd.public.lu.
